About
I'm currently the manager of User Experience and Digital Strategy for all public-facing digital products of a global financial company. I spent over 9 years working in interconnected retail, interaction design, and mobile platforms for companies like Dick’s Sporting Goods and The Home Depot, and now oversee a cross-divisional team of 15+ designers. I’m passionate about building teams and transforming organizations with the integration of Design Thinking across people and processes.
As a team manager I focus on building a strong design culture that drives business results through inclusive and accessible products and a spotlight on qualitative and quantitative research. I teach my teams the art of getting uncomfortable and foster an environment of empathy, safety, and positivity.
I've lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Colorado and now Arizona. I'm an avid hiker, climber and paddle boarder. I'm also a certified yoga and meditation instructor and I'm passionate about weekend road trips, clean living, books and homemade pasta. In 2018 I renovated a ProMaster cargo van (named Judy), and spent over a year living out of her full-time. Now I’m making my way through a National Parks list, and trying to hike in every state of the USA.
